Generations Manaka Ranaka, Pregnant At The Same Time As Her Teenage Daughter
In June this year, actress Manaka Ranaka proudly announced that she’s going to be a grandmother because her teenage daughter was pregnant but she didn’t reveal that she too was pregnant at the time.
Her oldest daughter; Kgomotso who is 18 years old recently gave birth to a boy and gave 41 years old Manaka a grandson. This would mean that Manaka’s soon-to-be newborn and her grandson who will be three to five months apart will be nephew and aunt or nephew and uncle.
Manaka got pregnant with her oldest daughter; Kgomotso when she got the role of Nandipha on the now-canceled Isidingo and was apparently fired because she refused to abort.
Manaka is expected to give birth anytime soon and will apparently take some time off Generations The Legacy to go on maternity like her co-star; Ayanda who mysteriously disappeared.
In the current storyline, Manaka’s character; Lucy Diale, and her on-screen husband; Mrekza played by Kope Makgae are having marital problems. Manaka who plays the role of Lucy Diale has even moved out of her apartment which she shares with her husband because he thinks Lucy kicked her out.
However, this storyline is all part of Manaka’s temporary exit from the soapie so that she can get her maternity leave. We expect Lucy to disappear; either she will get kidnapped by her prison lover or she will voluntarily leave her husband and family behind.
In real life, however; Manaka’s relationship isn’t as chaotic and troublesome as her on-screen relationship.
Her baby daddy; Tuka who has been busy preparing the nursery for their newborn baby has been hands-on during her pregnancy and letting Manaka relax after long hours on set. He recently surprised the actress with a beautiful pram for their baby.
