Marumo Gallants’ team bus was involved in a minor accident in Durban on Sunday evening shortly after their Betway Premiership match against Golden Arrows.
The club confirmed that all players, technical staff, and accompanying personnel are safe and no serious injuries were sustained.

All Players and Staff Safe
The club stated that the incident occurred as the team was travelling from the stadium back to their hotel, when a private vehicle was propelled forward and lightly impacted the rear of the team coach.
Club management expressed relief in a statement shared on their official X account:
“We are thankful that all our players and staff are safe. The incident was minor, and we appreciate the prompt response from local authorities and emergency services who ensured everyone’s safety.”
Club Schedule Unaffected
Despite the travel disruption, Marumo Gallants’ schedule remains on track. The team will stay in Durban for the remainder of the week as they prepare for upcoming matches.
Fixtures include a league match against Durban City on Wednesday, followed by a Carling Knockout Cup semi-final this Sunday.
The club emphasized that their focus remains on training and preparation, and they are ready to continue their campaign without interruption.
