She disclosed that the emotional toll of the breakup led her to seek professional help.
“I wasn’t myself after 2018. I was financially and emotionally drained. I had to consult psychiatrists and psychologists to reset my mind and heal from the trauma,” she shared.
LaConco also revealed that Zuma abruptly stopped communicating with her, leaving her with unanswered questions.
Despite the emotional turmoil, LaConco chose to remain composed during the encounter.
“I held back my tears because I knew breaking down in front of him wouldn’t change anything. It’s a tap-and-go situation, and I’ve accepted that,” she said.
She also addressed the influence of those around Zuma, suggesting that negative individuals surround him.

However, she emphasized that forgiveness does not erase the need for accountability. LaConco further shared that she just wants an apology from Zuma, as she met him when she was young and pure.

LaConco also touched on the challenges of co-parenting with Zuma. “Sometimes our child misses him and asks me to call. I do, even though I know he won’t answer. I want our child to see that I tried,” she explained.

“I will always respect him because he paid lobola for me. But that doesn’t mean I’m not hurt by his actions,” she said.
