Rapper Meek Mill revealed that he lost his phone after fans robbed him in Ghana.

The Philadelphia rapper is in the West African country after learning from Ancestry.com that he is 18% Ghanaian.

Meek Mill posted his DNA results on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (December 28), circling the 18% labelled “Ivory Coast & Ghana” and writing: “My second home!!!”

 

 

The Dream Chasers boss’ visit to the West African nation is not all about pleasure and getting back to his roots as he is the headlining act for this year’s Afro Nation music festival alongside Davido, Rema, Black Sherif and others in Accra, Ghana.

Meek Mill had his first performance on December 29, with the festival slated to end today. The MMG rapper announced his headlining slot back in October this year.

The rapper, born Robert Rihmeek Williams, is living his best life in Ghana and has shared the receipts on his official Instagram account.

Fans took to the streets of Accra to show their love for Meek Mill as he made his way to his first Afro Nation music festival performance.

After witnessing the love, Meek Mill said that he might buy a house in Ghana.

“I’m grabbing a crib in Ghana forsureeeeeee this real love!”, Meek Mill wrote on his Instagram stories.

Later on, Meek Mill shared that he had been pickpocketed in Ghana telling whoever had got his phone to bring it back.

“They pick pocketed me for my phoneeeeeee SMH….Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!,” Meek Mill wrote on his Instagram stories.

A few hours after his arrival in Ghana, the 35-year-old rapper was spotted going on a biking expedition on the streets of Accra.

Meek Mill, who is a fan of bike riding, showed some serious biking skills on a quad bike with a lady sitting behind him.
