Metro Police Stops Rami Chuene, Asks Her To Unblock Him On Twitter
Mzansi actress Rami Chuene is great at what she does and fans just love her naturally. She takes time to interact with her fans and followers on social media but just like everyone else, she also has boundaries and if people cross those boundaries, she doesn’t hesitate to block them.
Recently, Rami Chuene, announced to her fans that she was stopped by the Metro Police, only to be asked to unblock one of their members who followed her on Twitter.
She said she probably blocked him because there’s so much vulgar on his Twitter and she revealed that the people she usually blocks are homophobic, people who are pro-gender-based violence, disrespectful, and racists.
She took to Twitter and said:
“Got stopped by metro police on my way home a Little while ago. One of them said he didn’t want anything from me except for me to u him on Twitter”
Rami Chuene further explained why she blocks people
I hardly block people. My reasons aren’t that many. You get blocked if you’re racist, homophobic, sexist, support GBV, downright disrespectful especially to women and a cyber bully. I believe we can all have opinions without being mean to each other. So I wonder what he did.
I laughed. He gave me his handle and he is indeed blocked. Going through his TL to see what might have happened and so far he’s quite vulgar, even some of his friends.
She also uses her media to speak out on social issues and she is known for not holding back and being outspoken about issues, especially in the entertainment industry.
A few weeks ago Rami Chuene, called on the Hawks to start investigating the “greedy entertainment gods” citing that their “corruption, greed and exploitation has built many mansions and bought many cars, leaving many artists broke since the days of Bophelo ke Semphekgo”
A lot can be learnt from Rami regarding social issues and her passion for her voice to be heard makes her one of the celebrated celebrities.
