Mihlali Ndamase’s Boyfriend Leeroy Sidambe Faces Arrest
Mihlali Ndamase’s boyfriend, Leeroy Sidambe, is facing potential arrest due to his refusal to comply with a court order that mandates the return of a luxury vehicle he initially gifted to his ex-wife, Mary Jane.
Mary Jane filed a formal criminal complaint with the police, prompting this legal action.
The Anniversary Gift Turned Legal Battle: Sidambe’s Luxury Car Saga
Initially, the Gauteng businessman had purchased the vehicle as an anniversary gift for his former spouse, Mary Jane. However, as their marriage deteriorated, Sidambe took possession of the car and gifted it to Mihlali Ndamase. Mary Jane subsequently initiated legal proceedings against Leeroy, asserting that he intentionally deprived her of the vehicle and transferred it to Ndamase, fully aware that she lacked her own means of transportation.
In March of this year, the courts ruled in favour of Mary Jane. Leeroy Sidambe was instructed to return the Range Rover Autobiography (a 2020 model) to her within two days of the court order. In addition to this, the court mandated that Ndamase cover various costs, including maintenance and repairs for the vehicle, as well as the balloon payment for the Range Rover Sport, which was to be made to BMW financial services within 30 days of the order.

Furthermore, Sidambe was required to contribute R156,000 each month towards the maintenance of his wife and children, with payments due on the first day of each month. He was also directed to provide undisclosed financial support for his wife and children’s medical expenses.
The court order extended to the payment of rates, services, water, and electricity for the rented property where his wife and children reside. Additionally, Leeroy was instructed to pay a deposit for the rented property and to cover legal costs amounting to over R1.7 million that Mary Jane incurred during the legal proceedings.
