‘You Have To Draw A Line’: Mihlali
According to IOL, the influencer said she understood that public figures could attract opinions and criticism but objected to what she described as deliberately fabricated narratives.
“There comes a point where you have to draw a line between people having opinions and people deliberately creating narratives that simply aren’t true,” she wrote.
Ndamase said she had no problem with people discussing or misunderstanding her, but maintained that some claims had crossed the line.
“I know who I am, I know what I have done and, most importantly, I know what I haven’t done,” she added.
Ndamase Denies Relationships With Chivayo And Ginimbi
Addressing the specific claims, Ndamase categorically denied ever being romantically involved with Chivayo.
She said she had “NEVER dated Wicknell” and had never met him.
Ndamase also rejected claims that she had been in a relationship with late Zimbabwean socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure.
“I don’t understand why some of you are so quick to run with narratives created by that imbecile on Twitter, knowing very well he only uses my name for relevance,” she wrote.
Dating Claims Resurface After Chivayo’s Death
The latest controversy comes more than two years after Ndamase was previously linked to Chivayo while both were in Miami.
Chivayo denied the reports at the time, saying he did not know Ndamase and dismissing the dating claims as false.
Ndamase subsequently thanked him for clarifying the matter and criticised those who continued associating her with men she said she had never met.
‘Leave My Name Out Of Your Lies’
With the claims resurfacing following Chivayo’s death, Ndamase said she intended to continue protecting her peace while refusing to let others alter the public perception of her.
She stressed that prioritising her peace did not mean remaining silent while people made what she considered false allegations about her.
“Respectfully, leave my name out of your lies,” she concluded.
Chivayo died alongside his wife, Lucy Muteke, and three others when their helicopter crashed at Kudenga Farm near Marondera in Mashonaland East on Wednesday, September 30.
