Minnie Dlamini Hints At Child Custody Battle With Ex-husband Quinton Jones

It seems all is not well between Minnie Dlamini and her ex-husband Quinton Jones.

From seemingly taking a jab at her former husband on his birthday to hinting they are going through a custody battle, people have been wondering if all is well between the ex-lovebirds.

On Tuesday, 12 September, Quinton Jones turned 40 – and on that day, Minnie Dlamini decided to take to her Instagram Stories and share a somewhat perplexing message.

On Quinton’s birthday this year, Dlamini decided to keep mum about her ex’s big day and instead posted a sizzling picture of herself wearing a bikini and having a drink in a pool. She also took to her Instagram Stories and left a rather interesting quote which read:

“If you’re single, have some patience. Your soulmate is almost done with those divorce papers.”

It is uncertain whether she had intended to shade Quinton with her statement or if she was speaking of herself, or just giving her followers.

Minnie Dlamini Custody Battle Hints

On Thursday she again took to her Instagram Stories again and shared a boomerang video of herself and her son enjoying some mommy and son time in the pool. Minnie Dlamini accompanied the post with yet another head-scratching message. She hinted that her estranged husband was trying to take away their son Netha Makhosini Jones who was born in November 2020.

The message read:

Imagine being someone trying to take a baby away from its mother 💔

At the time of writing, Minnie Dlamini nor Quinton Jones had commented on the issue.

Minnie’s Perspective on Single Parenting

In her interview on DJ Fresh’s YouTube podcast What A Week in July this year, Minnie revealed her experience as a single parent.

The actress said she wants to raise her son Netha Makhosini Jones the same way she was raised. She revealed being a single parent is difficult and gave a shoutout to fellow single parents.

“It’s even more difficult doing it alone…I don’t think I’ve ever been more insecure or questioned myself more than I do right now. But I also feel like God gave him (Netha) to me for a reason. Sometimes I just got to trust my gut and raise him in a way that I was raised because I think my parents did pretty good,” Minnie Dlamini said
