Miss Pru Leaves & Ambitiouz Entertainment Part Ways After 7 Years
Record producer and wheel spinner Miss Pru has announced that she is leaving Ambitiouz Entertainment after seven years with the music stable.
In a statement released on her social media pages, Miss Pru said she and Ambitiouz Entertainment had amicably consented to part ways. She added that the decision to leave the music label was not an easy one given the role it played in her music career.
Miss Pru also took time to reveal why she was inactive on the music scene saying she decided to take a break from producing music to recharge.
We present the full statement by Miss Pru below:
The last seven (7) years with Ambitiouz Entertainment have been an incredible journey, I have evolved so much as an artist and as a person and none of which would’ve been possible without the extraordinary support from the team.
Over the past couple of months, I took a bit of a break from being active in making music and had taken this much-deserved break to re energies and redefine my artistic expression in a way that allows me to give the best I can to my supporters.
Ambitiouz Entertainment played a big role in my career and so it is not an easy decision to announce my departure from the label. Myself and Ambitiouz Entertainment have amicably consented to part ways and I will forever be grateful for all their hard work and the value they’ve added to my brand.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr Mahumapelo, the entire team and label mates. You have been amazing and I couldn’t have wished for a better foundation to launch my career.

NDU and Danya the duo that makes up Blaq Diamond dumped Ambitiouz in December 2021, becoming independent artists owning Umuthi Records. They said they left the label because they felt there was a disconnect between their vision and Ambitiouz.
Blaq Diamond collaborated with Miss Pru on the song Price To Pay. Miss Pru also worked with former Ambitiouz Entertainment labelmates such as A-Reece, Emtee and Saudi who all left the record label disgruntled.
