Muvhango Actress Meme Ditshego Dies at Age 60
South African actress Meme Ditshego has died. She was 60-years-old.
Meme passed away on the evening of 25 June 2025.
She was well known for her role as Josephine Ratau in the SABC2 sitcom Ga Re Dumele, Ausi Ntsoaki in Muvhango, and Evelina in 7de Laan.

Meme Ditshego Death Confirmed
Her management agency, Eye Media Artists, confirmed the news about her death in a heartfelt statement.
“It is with deep sorrow and reverance that we announce the passing on of Meme Ditshego- a beloved South African actress, legendary comedic talent and a true veteran of our screen and stage.”
They described her as a pioneering performer whose vibrant spirit and authenticity lit up every stage and screen she graced.
“She was a pioneer of performance – a woman whose vibrant spirit, sharp wit, and undeniable presence brought life to every role she played,” the statement read.
