According to Sunday World, Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune was reportedly suspended and demoted for going to training under the influence of alcohol.
The 36-year-old goalkeeper reportedly arrived for training on Wednesday morning, showing signs of someone under the influence of alcohol

Reportedly, the test results confirmed his intoxication, leading to his immediate dismissal from the training session.
Following this incident, the club’s management convened with the former Bafana Bafana goalie, expressing profound disappointment with his conduct. They explicitly deemed his actions unacceptable and warned him of imminent severe disciplinary measures.
