Mzansi Demands Hawks Investigate Mama Joy After She Defends Danny Jordaan
Mzansi is buzzing with demands for the Hawks to investigate superfan Mama Joy after her outspoken defence of South African Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan, who was arrested on Wednesday on charges of fraud.

Danny Jordaan Arrested on Fraud Charges
Jordaan, along with SAFA’s chief financial officer Gronie Hluyo and journalist-turned-businessman Trevor Neethling, faces accusations of misappropriating R1.3 million of association funds for personal use. The trio is expected to appear before the Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Palm Ridge.
Mama Joy’s Controversial Response Draws Attention
After the arrests were confirmed, Mama Joy took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to defend Jordaan, boldly stating he would not attend court or step down from his SAFA position despite the criminal charges.
In her post, Mama Joy wrote,
“Hands off my President I want to confirm that President Danny Jordaan is not going to court today or anywhere ,,,,, @SAFA_net ,,, and he is not stepping aside ,,, He is busy with @BafanaBafana last 2 games To qualify for Afcon UGanda and Sudan.”
