Longwe Twala, the son of famed music producer Sello Chicco Twala, has been re-arrested after he failed to appear in court last month for a theft case.
The arrest follows a warrant issued after his legal team previously argued that he was not a flight risk, resulting in his temporary release, SowetanLive reveals.

The Theft Allegations
In September, Longwe Twala and his younger brother, Sello, were arrested for stealing and selling their father’s valuable studio equipment worth an estimated R200,000.
The Twala brothers were detained after their father, Chicco Twala, complained to the authorities. While the court released Longwe on a warning, his brother Sello had been freed earlier due to insufficient evidence.
Longwe Twala is set to appear in court once again on Wednesday to face charges in connection with the alleged crime
