“I Don’t Understand the Shocked-ness”

Nakai didn’t hold back in her video message, making it clear that she has no intention of changing for the sake of online approval.

I will wear what I want to wear. I’ve always been that b****, like I don’t understand. I called my whole album Nadia Naked. Makeup range called Naked Without. I don’t know how you guys are shocked — I don’t understand the shocked-ness,” she said.

She further emphasized that her style has always reflected boldness and confidence, saying,

To me, it’s nothing new. And you’re going to get more.”

“Get Out My Comments” – Message to Concerned Parents

Nakai also had a pointed message for those criticizing her from a parenting perspective.

“To all these people’s mothers, get out my comments. I’m not here to raise your kids,” she stated.

The rapper made it clear that she’s focused on her own life and brand, and won’t be conforming to anyone’s standards of what’s appropriate.

If I’m going to serve you a little bit of an a** crack, you will get it. Don’t be talking about Kairo. Let me live. Until I decide to have kids of my own I’m going to have these a** cheeks out. Let me live.”
