Early Years and Background

Natasha Joubert, the newly crowned Miss South Africa 2023, hails from Pretoria and was raised in Centurion, Gauteng. Her journey to success began at a young age, showcasing her unique qualities.

During her early years, Natasha was the only female participant in her karate class, demonstrating her determination and courage. Her talent was on full display when she graced the stage of ‘South Africa’s Got Talent’ at the age of 11. Additionally, she had a deep passion for singing, which she pursued from the tender age of seven until she turned 18.

Age and Family

Natasha Joubert was born on July 24, 1997, making her a young achiever in the world of beauty pageants.

She shares a close-knit bond with her older brother, Reinier, and her sister, Daniellé, both of whom have successful careers as attorneys, notaries, and conveyancers. Her mother, Ninette, plays a significant role in Natasha’s life and is also a business collaborator in their venture, Natalia Jeffery. A remarkable fact is that Ninette pursued her law degree at the age of 50. During Natasha’s crowning as Miss South Africa in 2023, her mother was in the process of completing her articles to become a lawyer. Unfortunately, Natasha lost her father during her teenage years, which further fueled her determination to succeed.

Education and Early Career

Natasha Joubert attended Hoërskool Eldoraigne and later pursued her studies at Boston City Campus and Business College. In 2020, she proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing management.

Notably, Natasha was able to finance her studies through the bursaries she won in modelling competitions. Before her participation in Miss South Africa 2020, she worked as a public relations officer for a prestigious law firm.

At the time of her coronation as Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha was not just a beauty queen but also a successful fashion designer and the owner of Natalia Jeffery, a fashion company she founded at the age of 19. Her entrepreneurial spirit and creativity shine through in her business ventures.

Modelling Career

Natasha Joubert’s journey in the world of modelling has been remarkable. She achieved victories in Miss Globe South Africa 2016 and Miss Rivonia 2018. On the global stage, she made it to the Top 5 in the Miss Globe 2016 competition. In Miss South Africa 2020, she secured the coveted second runner-up position. Notably, Natasha represented South Africa at the Miss Universe 2020 competition, although she didn’t make it to the top 21.

Becoming Miss South Africa 2023

Natasha Joubert was crowned Miss South Africa 2023 in a crowning moment of glory. This marked her second time participating in the competition, having been a runner-up in 2020 and representing the country at Miss Universe in 2021. Her determination, talent, and unwavering spirit have made her a shining star in the beauty world and beyond.
