Famous Nigerian actor Hanks Anuku has come out to plead for financial assistance after a disturbing video of him looking homeless and unkempt at a fuel service station went viral on social media.
The video which has been trending on social media has sparked concerns about his mental health.

Hanks, known for his iconic roles in films such as ‘Broad Daylight’ and ‘Formidable Force,’ was captured on camera roaming around at Northwest Fuel Station in Asaba.
In the video, he can be seen looking homeless and disheveled.

In parts of the viral footage, the actor expresses fondness for a nearby woman, however, the rest of his speech proved difficult to comprehend.
Concerned fans of Actor Hanks Anuku have expressed worry and questioned his mental state after witnessing the video, which suggests potential instability in his demeanour. Some social media users suspect possible drug and alcohol abuse.

Meanwhile, another video of the veteran actor crying out for help emerged after the disturbing video went viral.
In the latest video, Hanks Anuku directly appealed for financial support from his fans and the government. Hanks Anuku opened up about his struggles and how he has been struggling to make ends meet. The veteran actor revealed that he has been jobless for years.
He stated,
“I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of being a legend. But I’ve had no job for, God knows, how many years. And I expect that Nigerians will also know that I did it all for them.”
He pleaded with his fans and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to assist him.
“I just gonna ask Governor Sheriff [Oborevwori] to please send support to me. And my fans who truly love and appreciate the works I’ve done for them, if you think you truly love me, may God help you all to help me.”
