A Pakistani spaza owner has been arrested in relation to Likhone Fose murder case as a second suspect.

Following news of the detention, angry locals reportedly ransacked the suspect’s convenience store in Roodepoort earlier today. Municipal Public Safety representative Dr. Mgcini Tshwaku confirmed that Johannesburg Metro Police officers were dispatched to restore calm in the area.
“We’re monitoring the situation closely with additional security personnel on standby to prevent further disturbances,” stated Tshwaku during a press briefing.

Legal Proceedings Continue
In related developments, co-accused Mduduzi Mnisi faced the Roodepoort Magistrates Court today regarding his bail petition. The hearing has been rescheduled for June 18, 2025, as investigators continue building their case against both defendants.
