According to Nthabiseng Dubazana, Zitha’s attorney from Dubazana Attorneys, an indictment has already been served. This document outlines the charges Zitha will face in the high court. However, Dubazana mentioned that they are still awaiting the full docket from the state to prepare their defense.

“We do not have a copy of the docket as yet; as such, we are not ready. Once the state has given the docket to us, then we will see what it is we are facing. For now, we just wait for our first appearance in the high court,” said Dubazana.

Zitha also revealed that Letlape had been struggling with mood swings and depression. Both individuals were reportedly intoxicated on the day of the incident, and Letlape’s emotional state worsened as the day progressed.
