The drama reportedly began when Bongani brought five women home from a nightclub and refused to let them leave. Witnesses told Zimoja:

These young ladies wanted to go back to their homes, but Bongani refused to release them because he wanted one of them,” said a security officer who responded to the incident. “He said they should stay, but the girls refused because they had to go to work today. That’s when he started to get aggressive.

Witnesses described alarming scenes of Bongani shouting, threatening violence, and name-dropping his late mother with no clothes.

Things got wild there. He was yelling at them and threatening them with violence while he was name-dropping his late mother’s name, Brenda Fassie,” said an eyewitness.

Sources allege Bongani’s actions escalated as he pushed the women around and pulled off their wigs. Friends who were present reportedly tried to intervene but were met with hostility.

He was also pushing and pulling his friends, who could only watch as he became more violent,” one source revealed.

Bongani’s behaviour spiralled further as he began breaking bottles, stripping n_ked, and chasing neighbours.

Police were called but reportedly declined to press charges for public indecency, suggesting instead that the issue be addressed when Bongani sobered up.

Residents expressed concern for Bongani’s two children, who were reportedly crying during the incident.

His family members must do something before something worse happens,” a source urged.

Neighbours claim Fassie’s home often hosts wild parties and that his children do not attend school.

We were scared for the kids,” said another source.
