Three SAPS police officer are under investigation from authorities after they fatally assault a motorist who was involved in a car accident.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has initiated a formal inquiry into the tragic death of a 33-year-old motorist after a road accident in Embalenhle during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Controversy Surrounds Fatal Crash Aftermath
According to Mpumalanga police spokesperson Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, law enforcement officers responded to a two-vehicle collision scene where one driver sustained critical injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby medical facility but was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
