Pretoria Court Approves Sale of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s R50 Million Bombardier Jet

The North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has approved the sale of a luxury jet belonging to fugitive prophet Shepherd Bushiri.

The ruling, delivered on April 3, 2025, allows the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to sell the R50 million Bombardier Challenger 604, which has been parked at Lanseria Airport since Bushiri fled South Africa in 2020.

NPA Targets Prophet Bushiri’s Jet

The aircraft was seized by the NPA’s Asset Forfeiture Unit and is registered under Shepherd Bushiri Investments. According to the NPA, the plane was allegedly purchased using the proceeds of crime.

According to News24, the court has now given the green light for the National Aircraft Corporation to handle the sale, with all proceeds directed towards ongoing asset recovery linked to Bushiri’s alleged financial misconduct.

Fugitive Couple Fled While Out on Bail

Bushiri and his wife, Mary, skipped bail and fled to Malawi in 2020. At the time, they were facing serious charges, including fraud, money laundering, and contraventions of the Prevention of Organized Crime Act.

Their sudden departure sparked diplomatic tensions and complicated extradition efforts, which are still ongoing.

Major Win for Prosecutors

The court’s decision represents a notable step forward in the NPA’s pursuit of justice. Prosecutors believe the sale of the jet could help recoup a portion of the funds allegedly looted by Bushiri and his associates.

The ‘man of god’s’ wings have been clipped. Like Icarus, he’s going to come tumbling down once his extradition papers have been processed!

@BotziMarcus;

I mean even his face just says skelem. In Africa we are tired of these fake pastors and the worst elements are the fake Christians who believe and support these pagan churches. The devil’s deals seem so sweet but end so sourly and not all that glitters is gold.
