Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng Impresses Many Zimbabweans With Her Shona

Zimbabweans are applauding Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng on X after she wrote Perfect Shona.

The Professor is well known for excelling in the corporate and academic world and has proven also to be a social butterfly.

Phakeng recently commented on another post about her in perfect Shona, which has impressed many Zimbabweans.

An X user named Mokone Dimphoo posted the Prof’s picture with a caption:

MKP has a duty here. Akusheshwe please

The post implied that the MK party should give the professor a position in their party. Mokone believed that she would be a great addition and should be put to work.

Many people had mixed reactions in the comment section as people were divided between agreeing with the post and disagreeing with it.

Some people believe that with Prof Phakeng’s academic achievements, she would be an asset to the MK political party, empowering the youth and other women. One user commented:

Duty for what? What has this Prof done for young women & girls to empower,lead them the right direction? This doing all the things that mislead our young women i.e. posing half naked for the whole world, attending abo Chris Brown etc. Things that contribute nothing to young women

However, other people think that Prof Phakeng has done nothing for the public for her to be a political figure.
