“Why is the investigating officer protecting the suspect? The driver who killed my brother walks free while we struggle for answers,” the grieving brother demanded.

Love Triangle Turns Deadly

At the heart of the tragedy is Ntombizodwa, a Zimbabwean woman who admitted to dating both Mahamba and her Ugandan partner (the prime suspect) within months of each other. The love triangle turned violent when the Ugandan man discovered footage of Ntombizodwa with Muhamba.

Ntombizodwa claims she attempted to mediate between the men on the fatal day:

“Emmanuel damaged the vehicle’s windshield before the attack. I didn’t see how he ended up on the ground,” she stated, adding that she had ended the relationship with Muhamba weeks earlier over safety concerns.
