Rhythm City Palesa Attacked And Robbed
Actress Hloni Padi who is popularly known as Palesa was recently mugged in an encounter that left her traumatized.
Hloni Padi is well known for her character as Palesa on Rhythm City and as Pinkie on Muvhango, she also featured in AboMzala, and Isibaya.
She is one of those actresses who have entertained us for quiet some time and has also become dear to us.
Recently, in a disturbing development, Palesa revealed that she was in shock after she was roughed up by some ‘criminals.’
Hloni Padi took to Twitter to share about her experience and said she’s also in pain as the tsotsis left her physically bruised.
Wrote Hloni Padi
“I got violently mugged yesterday. I’m still in so much shock. My body is bruised and I’m in pain. I’m just not ok,”
Fellow Mzansi celebs took to comforting her after the traumatizing event
Real Goboza host Samora Mangesi joined in comforting her saying
“I’m sorry my friend. You may not be okay, at least you are here and you are going to be okay.”
Rapper Cassper Nyovest also offered her words of comfort
“I’m sorry this had to happened to you.”
Aside from acting, Hloni Padi is also a house music vocalist and a singer.
She was actually a singer before before she got her acting gig. Her music got her noticed for TV.
Hloni Padi once spoke on her notable role on Rhythm City as Palesa who had sensitive storyline saying
“I put myself in that situation on purpose, if I am going to be a storyteller I need to be able to tell even the stories that people don’t want to hear, it’s my job and I needed to do it.”
