Rosemary Ndlovu Found Guilty in New Murder-for-Hire Insurance Plot Case
Convicted serial killer and former police officer Rosemary Ndlovu has been found guilty in another criminal matter, this time involving a failed murder-for-hire scheme allegedly linked to a multimillion-rand insurance payout.
Ndlovu appeared before the Kempton Park Regional Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday alongside her co-accused, Nomsa Mudau, where judgment was delivered following a lengthy trial.

Plot Allegedly Targeted Former Husband
The court convicted the two women on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and incitement to commit murder over a 2018 plot involving Nomsa Mudau’s former husband, Justice Mudau.
During the trial, the court heard allegations that the pair planned to have Justice Mudau killed in order to benefit from a life insurance policy reportedly valued at around R3 million.
Evidence presented before the court further claimed that about R150,000 had allegedly been promised to individuals approached to carry out the murder.
Alleged Scheme Exposed Before Attack
The alleged murder plan never came to fruition after one of the people reportedly approached to execute the killing alerted the intended victim instead.
The warning ultimately exposed the alleged conspiracy before any attack could take place.
Both Ndlovu and Mudau maintained their innocence throughout the proceedings and pleaded not guilty to all charges. However, the court ruled that the State had presented sufficient evidence to secure convictions against the pair.
Fresh Conviction Adds to Criminal Record
The latest conviction adds to Ndlovu’s growing criminal history.
The former police officer is already serving multiple life sentences after previously being convicted of orchestrating the murders of six relatives and family members in cases connected to insurance claims.
Sentencing in the latest matter is expected to be held at a later date.
