Authorities in Gauteng have intensified their search for a reckless motorist involved in a fatal pedestrian attack that was captured in disturbing viral footage. The South African Police Service (SAPS) confirmed they’re pursuing all leads to apprehend the driver of a 4×4 bakkie seen deliberately running over a victim multiple times before speeding from the scene.
The brutal encounter occurred earlier this month in a Rivonia shopping complex parking area, south of Johannesburg. Eyewitness footage circulating on social platforms shows the vehicle reversing over the victim several times in what appears to be an intentional assault.

Police Looking For Ugandan Man Who Killed Zimbabwean Man
Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi revealed that first responders discovered the male victim with catastrophic injuries along the roadside.
“Medical personnel pronounced the individual deceased at the scene,” Nevhuhulwi stated. “We’ve registered a murder docket and are following several investigative avenues.”
Investigators have urged anyone with knowledge of the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward immediately.
“We’re particularly interested in speaking with individuals who might recognize the vehicle or driver from the video evidence,” added Nevhuhulwi.

Love triangle turns deadly in Rivonia
Reports have it that the Ugandan national named Ali Mugoya ran over Zimbabwean Emmanuel Mahamba after the deceased slept with Ali’s baby mama. Mugoya learned through mutual friends that Mahamba was seen holding hands with the woman.
This angered Mugoya who confronted Mahamba and ended up running him over numerous times with his Ford Ranger.
