A Tragic Turning Point
Shebeshxt’s life took a devastating turn on the day of the accident, which occurred while he and his daughter were traveling to an event.
The incident not only shattered his personal life but also left his finances in turmoil.
Reflecting on the impact of the tragedy, Shebeshxt shared on his Facebook,
“Since my return, it might look like I have money, but I’ve been struggling.”
Mounting Debts and Financial Struggles
Shebeshxt disclosed that he initially owed R2 million and has since managed to reduce the debt to just over R1 million. He attributed part of this reduction to the R500,000 raised during ‘The Return of Shebeshxt’ donations for a foundation in his daughter’s honor, though he noted the foundation is not yet fully established.
“My biggest regret since returning from the hospital was listening to people advise me not to take gigs because they would sabotage me. I still owe many people who booked me before the accident,” he said.
The rapper explained that he has been attending only gigs where payments were made upfront, but the burden of refunds has further complicated his financial situation.
No Requests for Sympathy
Shebeshxt explained that he has been attending only gigs where payments were made upfront, but the burden of refunds has further complicated his financial situation.
“I had R2 million in debt. I now have over a million after making R500k from The Return of Shebeshxt donations for my daughter’s foundation, which does not yet have proper documentation.
They used my daughter’s name to focus on the return of Shebeshxt, which only gave me R500k; now I’m left with debt, ” he revealed.
Despite his hardships, Shebeshxt clarified that he is not seeking donations or sympathy but simply sharing his pain.
He expressed faith in divine intervention, adding,
“After that horrible accident, I had gigs lined up. Now I’m refunding millions. But it’s fine; only God knows.”
