A mother betrayed her daughter and her husband by sleeping with her son-in-law.
A woman who identified herself as Charmaine from Pretoria said that she was devastated when she found her mother and her husband having an affair.
Charmaine said that she learned of the affair after catching them watching an adult video together.
Charmaine and her husband Jabulani, met on a social media site, and met face to face for the first time at her 21st birthday party.
The couple moved in together five months later, and at her 24th birthday party, Jabulani surprised Charmaine by asking her to marry him.
About three weeks later, Charmaine learned that she was pregnant. The couple got married and were looking forward to raising their family together.
Charmaine said that after their baby was born, her husband’s behavior began to change, and he became argumentative, so she turned to her mother Mavis for support.
Soon after, Charmaine became pregnant with her second child. Her mother began to stay at her home on a regular basis so she can help out.
One night, when Charmaine woke up to care for her baby, she discovered that her mother and her husband were watching an adult video together.
“When I confronted them, they said that they accidentally put in the wrong DVD,” Charmaine said.
Charmaine put the concerns on the back of her mind.
After her second child was born, Charmaine and Jabulani began arguing more, so Charmaine threw him out, but her mother persuaded her to work on the relationship.
One day, Charmaine checked her mother’s phone and found a text message from her husband saying: “I will do you tonight.”
Her mother denied having an affair. However, after she filed for divorce, her husband eventually admitted that he had an affair with her mother for 4 years.
Mavis eventually admitted that she had and on and off relationship with her daughter’s man even before the two got married.
