“After God, Fear Women“: Social Media Erupts As Nandipha Magudumana Throws Thabo Bester Under the Bus
Controversial Dr. Nandipha Magudumana made headlines once again as she appeared in court on Tuesday at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court in an attempt to secure bail.
The medical doctor and mother of two broke down in court, crying uncontrollably as her affidavit for why she should be granted bail was read out.
During the hearing, Magudumana threw her boyfriend Thabo Bester under the bus, accusing him of forcing her to skip the country and threatening her.

The Background of the Case
Nandipha Magudumana’s bail application comes in the context of her alleged involvement in the grand escape of Thabo Bester, known as the Facebook rapist. Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester were arrested in Tanzania in April after Bester’s escape from the Mangaung prison in May last year.
Nandipha Magudumana is facing various charges, including fraud, corruption, violation of a body, assisting an inmate to escape, and defeating the ends of justice.
