Reality TV personality Inno Morolong has been found guilty of crimen injuria and defamation by the Randburg Magistrate’s Court and placed under house arrest.
The charges stem from accusations made against actress and social media influencer Tebogo Thobejane.
Inno Morolong Placed Under House Arrest
Morolong has been sentenced to 12 months of house arrest and will require written permission from her parole officer for any travel. Additionally, she must complete 60 days of community service under strict supervision.

The dispute between the two former friends began in 2023 when Morolong took to Instagram Live, making defamatory claims about Thobejane, including allegations of fraud, illegal activities, and the use of muthi.
Tebogo Thobejane shared that it had become dangerous for her to live in South Africa after their fallout. The reality TV star lived in fear of her life and moved to Dubai.
Thobejane expressed relief over the verdict, emphasizing that bullying should not be tolerated.
As part of her sentence, she is barred from consuming alcohol or drugs for a year. If she commits a similar offense, she will face immediate imprisonment,” she stated.
Additional Consequences for Inno Morolong
Beyond house arrest, Morolong has received a five-year suspended sentence. Furthermore, she is prohibited from entering Johannesburg as part of the court’s restrictions.
Thobejane revealed that investigations are ongoing regarding Morolong’s alleged criminal network. She also plans to pursue legal action to recover damages.
“This case highlights that bullying has consequences. Justice has been served, and no one is above the law,” she added.
Morolong has declined to comment on the court’s decision.
