Somizi Bounces Back To Music After Collaborating With Judith Sephuma

South Africa’s favourite media personality, Somizi Mhlongo- Motaung has announce that he is bouncing back to music once again.

The Idols judge revealed that he is will be working on a collabo, with award winning, jazz musician Judith Sephuma.

Somizi took to Instagram to confirm that he was working with Judith and stated that she challenges him out of his comfort zone.
Wrote Somizi”

“Yesterday this friend of mine Judith Sephuma put me out my comfort zone like I’ve never been put before in my entire career. She asked me to collaborate with her on a song for her upcoming album. Jesu (Jesus) my stomach was in knots all session. She was so patient and caring throughout and coaching me all the way. I don’t know what u see in me for u to trust me on your project but God bless your heart. Now as I nervously wait for the final product …”

Judith Sephuma also took to Instagram to thank Somizi for working with her.

“When we work! Yesterday was so so amazing. Somizi came through. Thank you my friend.I love you for years, for days and all of it. I am surrounded by greatness. All this is God’s Grace and Mercy! .
Tomorrow is another amazing friend of mine. Oh dear Lord…#Blessed!

This is not the first time that Somizi has tried his hand in singing, in 2000 he dabbled in music but he shelved it.
In 2017, Somizi made a come back and dropped Ngibonile featuring Heavy K , but he didn’t follow up on that as well,choosing to focus on other facets of his career.

Somizi once got criticized after one woman accused him of taking all the jobs, from singing, reality TV show, acting, radio gigs, cooking. To which Somizi replied that it was a cutthroat industry, he had to survive.
