Somizi Mhlongo’s Real Age Comes Under The Spotlight As He Is Accused Of Turning 50 Every Year
As ldols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo is getting ready to celebrate his golden jubilee this December, his real age has come under scrutiny.
According to a quick google search, Somizi Mhlongo was born on the 23rd of December 1972, which means he is supposed to be turning 50 years.
However, many South Africans do not believe that to be so. They believe Somizi is older than he lets on. Social media users have since accused him of lying about his age as they argued that he has always been turning 50 years every year.
This debate of his age has been a very long-lasting one. Netizens believe Somizi should be turning 50 something not just 50. They argued that he looks very old.

Taking to Instagram, Somizi recently shared the flier of his elite star-studded birthday party celebration, which is slated for January 2023. The media personality revealed that he is also going to be celebrating 4 decades in the showbiz industry.
“So, I’m turning 50 in December, and there’s no way it’s just gonna be an ordinary day. God has been and still is amazing to me, and I wanna celebrate in a big way. You guys have also played a huge role in my life and career and still here with me moving forward.”
“So I called all my friends in the arts industry (music, theatre, television, sports, politics) to join me on stage on the 28th January 2023 @suncityresortsa Super Bowl in front of thousands of my supporters watching live. It’s gonna be a concert to remember for years to come.”
