Somizi Tears Into Prophet Bushiri On National Television
Popular and outspoken celebrity Somizi gave left his guests in stitches in an episode of his TV show ‘ Dinner At Somizi’s’, where he hosted Jub Jub after piercing into the ongoing Prophet Bushiri court battle.
Being the natural-born comedian that he is, Somizi started to imitate Bushiri by inviting a young man to the stage and ‘prophesying’ that the young man is not married and the ‘audience’ member jokingly agreed. Somizi took it a step further and referred to himself as Major 2. The impromptu skit left Jub Jub and the camera crew in stitches with laughter.
For the past two weeks, Prophet Bushiri and his wife Mary have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Despite the flamboyant Prophet dodging the hawks all these years, unfortunately for him, he couldn’t fiddle his way out of this mess as is usual:
The drama began with his wife being arrested at her home in connection with a 110M Fraud Case. Bushiri handed himself over to the police and went along with an entourage of attorneys. A statement was published on Bushiri’s social media platforms that read,
“The Hawks informed lawyers of our leaders, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri, late Monday afternoon that they (Hawks) are requesting the couple to go to their office by 11 am accompanied by their lawyers to discuss an issue concerning a certain investment pertaining to a certain company. We are told as the Prophet and lawyers were getting prepared for the 11 am appointment, the Hawks went to their house before the 11 am appointment and arrested the Prophet’s wife alone. We are told the Prophet is on his way to the Hawks office to hand over himself. He believes in the justice system of the country and he will abide to all what the law compels until all this war is done,”
