South African Rapper Junior King Dies in Tragic Head-On Crash on the N1
South African TikTok sensation, rapper and dancer Junior King, real name Dugulth Ferreira, has died following a devastating head-on collision on the N1 near Verkeerdevlei.
The 25-year-old entertainer, who amassed more than 3 million followers on TikTok, was declared dead at the scene on Friday morning.

Collision Leaves Three Others Injured
According to authorities, the crash occurred at around 7:25am and involved a sedan and a light truck.
Three passengers travelling in one of the vehicles sustained moderate injuries and were rushed to hospital for urgent medical care.
Although full details are still under investigation, early reports suggest that Junior King may have been on his way to pick up his children when the collision happened.
A Rising Digital Star With a Loyal Fan Base
Originally from Gqeberha, Junior King rose to prominence through his high-energy dance videos, charismatic humour and sharp lyrical ability.
His talent and magnetic online presence earned him a massive following across platforms, making him one of South Africa’s most recognisable young creators.
Final Album Release Becomes His Last Artistic Offering
Just days before his passing, on 5 December, Junior King released The Revenge Album, a project he had described as a major step in his evolution as an artist.
