Tebogo Thobejane Speaks Out After Attempt on Her Life

Television actress and influencer Tebogo Thobejane is reeling from trauma after what she describes as an attempt on her life.

In a heartfelt public statement seen by TimesLive, she revealed that she is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is emotionally devastated by the incident.

Tebogo Thobejane Asks for Privacy and Healing Time

In the statement, Tebogo urged the public and media to respect her need for space during this difficult time.

“I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as my family and I continue to heal from a deeply traumatic experience,” she said.

She added that the emotional toll has been severe:

We are still carrying the weight of what happened, living with the emotional impact and ongoing effects of PTSD. This journey has been hard, but I think it’s best to let the law take its course.”

She Acknowledges Others Hurt in the Incident

Tebogo also expressed sorrow over others who were affected during the traumatic event, stating that one of the most painful parts of the ordeal has been confronting those who were hurt alongside her.

I have had to find the strength to express my sorrow to their families and to live with the pain that they were affected because of a situation tied to me. It’s something that stays with me every day.”

Grateful for Compassion Amid the Pain

Despite the pain, Tebogo praised those impacted for their kindness during her healing process.

“I remain incredibly grateful to the family for showing me grace and compassion and not placing blame where there is already so much hurt. I will continue to pray for them and support their healing too.”
