Springbok WAG Simone Tshituka has secured a place among the Top 24 finalists in this year’s Miss South Africa competition.

Simone is married to Springbok and Sharks player Emmanuel “Manu” Tshituka.

The couple tied the knot in 2024.

They now live in KwaZulu-Natal, where Manu represents the Sharks.

Meanwhile, Manu’s older brother, Vincent Tshituka, is preparing for fatherhood.

Vincent and his wife, Katlego, are expecting their first child.

Dream Start After Springbok Debut

Miss South Africa recently revealed its Top 24 finalists.

Simone, a senior actuarial associate from Gauteng, earned her place in the competition.

She received the exciting news while visiting Gqeberha.

She had travelled there to support Manu during his Springbok debut.

After the announcement, Simone shared her excitement.

“Amazing things can happen when we pursue our dreams. I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity, and I hope to serve you as South Africa well”.

Her achievement quickly attracted support from family and rugby stars.

Vincent Tshituka celebrated the milestone on Instagram.

“We’re going all the way,” Vincent commented under an Instagram post.

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi also congratulated Simone.

Education Campaign Takes Centre Stage

Simone plans to champion education throughout the competition.

Specifically, she wants to expand mathematics mentorship programmes for young people.

Currently, Simone and the remaining finalists are completing the competition’s semi-final screening process.

Former Miss South Africa Shudu Musida serves on the judging panel.

Scientist Aisha Pandor also joins the semi-final judges.

Businesswoman Colleen Larsen completes the high-profile judging team.
