A teen girl was brutally killed by her stepfather after refusing to sell her late mother’s shack in a domestic dispute case.
Girl Found Killed By Stepfather Over Shack
According to police spokesperson Lt-Col Jabu Ndubane, authorities forced entry into the Extension 33 residence on May 28 after the teenager had been missing for five days. The victim was discovered in the bedroom with severe head trauma, including a crushed forehead and a deep laceration.

Investigations reveal the young victim had recently confronted her stepfather about his plans to sell the family shack – the only home she and her siblings had known since their mother’s passing.

“The deceased had expressed concerns about where her younger brothers and sisters would live if the property was sold,” Ndubane stated.
Officers recovered a bloodied pipe wrench near the bed, believed to be the weapon used in the brutal attack. Forensic evidence suggests the teenager may have also been sexually assaulted before her death.
