Among the items that Bester asserted were stolen from him are:

  • Samsung S23 worth R32,000
  • Samsung Z4 priced at R40,000
  • iPad 16 with a value of R18,000
  • Macbook Air 16 valued at R12,500
  • Macbook Pro 16 worth R34,600
  • Burberry card holder priced at R15,500
  • Tom Ford sunglasses valued at R9,500
  • HP laptop worth R41,000
  • Louis Vuitton laptop bag priced at R51,000
  • “Marriage” ring valued at R350,000
  • Two Audemars Piguet watches each worth R2,500,000
  • Two FM watches also valued at R2,500,000 each
  • Two Rolex watches each worth R2,600,000
  • C watch with a value of R1,750,000
  • Patek Philippe watch priced at R1,900,000
  • A Polo bag with missing clothes worth R750,000

Substantial Cash Losses

Bester also claimed that substantial cash amounts in various currencies mysteriously vanished:

  • R295,000
  • $36,000 (approximately R680,000)
  • Tanzanian Shilling 7,200,000 (about R55,000)
  • Zambian Kwacha 1,400,000 (roughly 1.3 million)
  • £500,000 (approximately R12 million)
  • Swiss Francs 150,000 (about R3.2 million)
