The Queen’s Noma Speaks On Being A Sangoma &  Sexual Harrassment In The Entertainment Industry

Actress Brenda Ngxoli has opened her journey of being a Sangoma and how she got over being sexually abused in the industry.

A while ago Brenda Ngxoli also shared a funny video called ‘Oh Thando-Lwethu’ on her Instagram explaining the dating struggle.

The actress said in the video:

“Only a woman can understand the plight of a woman… I’m struggling to find and keep a man… I sex, I douche, I shave, I wax. I just have too much love for one man. That is why I’m looking for someone or something who can help me find and keep a man,”

Brenda added that she needs a quick fix for her love life and that Steve Harvey’s book didn’t help her at all. She said she’s got too many issues that will take too much time, and she simply needed a quick fix.

She also jokingly added that she has approached pastors and palm readers to address the issue without any luck.

The entertainment industry has not been kind to Brenda either. The actress narrated about the abuse she received a few years ago which involved another woman and three men who fondled her while on set.

This caused her to move to her rural home to escape the stress of city life a few years ago.

The star who has since returned to the City of Gold and has moved on from the abuse is now on Mzansi Magic’s; The Queen where she plays the role of Noma

She’s also openly talked up about her spiritual journey on accepting her calling and embracing African spirituality on DSTV’s  Moja Love.

When she was asked about naysayers who say that being a Sangoma is a celebrity trend, Brenda defended her beliefs and said:

“It is inaccurate.”
