Three Actors That Would Have Enhanced The Queen Hector Sabeta’s Role

Rapulana Seiphemo performs better when playing corporate roles than villainous, corrupt roles. Many people were glued to their small screens when he played the character of Tau Mogale, and we all thought he wouldn’t be as bad as he is on The Queen since he had played the bad guy before in movies.

Looking at the South African industry, there are so many actors who would have done a better job at playing Hector Sebata than Rapulana Seiphemo. Here is a list of actors:

  Jamie Bartlett

For over a decade, Jamie Bartlett played the role of the magnificent, hilarious, wicked; David Genaro on Rhythm City. It’s unbelievable that Jamie was the same guy that played the dull and boring Mike on Isidingo years ago. He is just good because he is able to transition into every role thus keeping viewers glued to their small screens. Barlett just makes you want to watch him over and over again.

 Vuyo Dabula

On Generations, Dabula plays a gangster called Gaddaffi which he plays alongside Rapulana for many years. The two complimented each other so well that I’m convinced if Vuyo had also joined Rapulana on The Queen, then Hector wouldn’t have sucked as much as he does now. Unlike Rapulana, Vuyo doesn’t need a wingman or henchman or a purse because he is still a great solo and delivers every time, that way he remains one of our favourites.

 Menzi Ngubane

He played the character of Judas Ngwenya on Isibaya and that was his greatest villainous role. Due to his sickness, it’s such a pity that he couldn’t join The Queen this season.  His presence would’ve made a huge difference on The Queen.
