TikTok Star Tsekeleke Accuses Dr Malinga of Spending His Donation Money and Exploiting Him

Mixon Tholo, widely known as Tsekeleke, has accused singer Dr Malinga of withholding funds meant for him and mismanaging a generous donation.

Unpaid Performances and Alleged Exploitation

Tsekeleke, famed for his energetic dance moves and TikTok presence claims that Dr Malinga has been exploiting him and misappropriating his donation money.

According to Tsekeleke, Dr Malinga has refused to pay him his money despite working over five times during the festive season.

He alleged that Dr Malinga only paid him R2,000 per show without disclosing the actual fees charged.

“I perform without knowing what Malinga charges. He only gives me R2 000 per show,” Tsekeleke revealed.

Tsekeleke revealed that Dr Malinga told him he will not get his earnings after he inquired.

When I inquire about my earnings, he says I won’t get it,”  he said. 

The R100,000 Donation Controversy

Speaking to the DailySun, Tsekeleke revealed that a donor pledged R100,000 to support him, but the money was sent to Dr Malinga’s account. He claimed he never received the funds directly.

“”The man said he wanted to give me R100 000, but Dr Malinga asked him to send it to his account. I’ve never seen a cent from that money,” Tsekeleke said.

The TikTok star further disclosed that Dr Malinga purchased furniture for his family, which they deemed inadequate.

“He arrived with beds, but my family wasn’t happy. They’re angry at what he’s done.”

Dr Malinga Responds

Dr Malinga denied the allegations, stating that he used the funds responsibly. He said R10,000 was allocated each to Tsekeleke’s mother, girlfriend, and himself, while the rest went toward purchasing furniture and planning a house for Tsekeleke’s family.

He said he wanted Tsekeleke and his family to live a comfortable life.

“I want them to have a comfortable life,” said Malinga.

The musician argued that when Tsekeleke was offered R100k donation money, he feared that he would squander the money.

“I feared the money would be squandered. I’m painted as the villain, but I’m trying to help,” Malinga said.

Dr Malinga shared video proof of the transactions and accused Tsekeleke of misrepresenting the situation.
