Tracy Out of ICU After Seven-Day Battle Following Horror Accident
Amapiano vocalist Tracy has been discharged from intensive care after being involved in a serious car accident earlier this month.
The artist, whose real name is Lethiwe Tracy Sibiya, confirmed that she spent seven days in the Intensive Care Unit following the crash.

Crash Involving Fellow Artists
The accident took place on the evening of 4 April, when Tracy was travelling with fellow musician Thatohatsi, along with their driver, DJ, and road manager.
Following the incident, management confirmed that all those involved survived and were receiving medical care.
“At this stage, our priority is their health and recovery. We kindly ask for privacy for Thatohatsi and Tracy,” the statement said at the time.
ICU Recovery and Injuries
Tracy later revealed on TikTok that she had spent a week in intensive care.
A video shared online showed her in a hospital bed with visible facial injuries and her arm in a cast, highlighting the severity of the crash.
Emotional Message After Survival
Reflecting on her recovery, Tracy expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal.
“Just got out of the ICU after seven days of being in there, and the first thing I see is that my favourite song is out,” she wrote.
“The album is to be released too. I’m forever grateful for the life you chose to spare me, Lord,” she added.
Recovery Continues
While Tracy has been discharged from intensive care, she is expected to continue her recovery after sustaining injuries in the crash.
The incident has drawn concern from fans, who have flooded social media with messages of support for both Tracy and Thatohatsi as they recuperate.
