In a rather tragic incident, a male crew member on the set of the e.tv soapie Scandal! has died

The crew member, whose name has not yet been revealed, reportedly succumbed to his injuries in hospital after being severely injured on set.

Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela announced the news on his X account. He revealed that an accident happened during production of the soapie’s upcoming spin-off.

An accident occurred during production of the popular etv soapie’s upcoming spin-off.

A crew member was severely injured and taken to hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.”

Unconfirmed reports on social media suggest that the deceased is a 50-year-old man who worked in the offices.

The crew manager allegedly asked the now-deceased to assist in moving a wall. Tragically, the wall collapsed on him, resulting in his death.
