Trevor Noah, South African born comedian and host of America’s satirical T.V. show, The Dailyshow has started 2021 on a massive spending spree by buying himself a multimillion Rand mansion.
The comedian has just purchased a R400 million mansion in the affluent suburb of BelAir.

Noah’s mansion features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, infinity pool, a screening room, a spa and steam room and a rooftop area for entertaining amongst other unique fearures.
The purchase comes just a few months after The Dailyshow host sold his previous home in the same area.
Well renowned celebrities such as Jennifer Anniston, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and the world’s richest man Elon Musk also reside in the affluent suburban area.
In May last year, Noah took it upon himself to pay the salaries of some of the crew of the Dailyshow as production had been halted.
Moreover, the comedian has since opened doors for many comedians in his country of origin, South Africa, which has since seen many comedians bagging lucrative endorsement deals. Even during the hard lockdown some of the comedians continued to get an income even though it was now mostly online content.
In 2019 Noah was named the fourth richest comedian by Forbes with an estimated net worth of US$40 million behind big names like Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, and Jim Gaffin.
Moreso, Noah’s 2016 book, Born a Crime which is a compelling, inspiring, and comically sublime story of one man’s coming-of-age, set during the twilight of Apartheid and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed, made it into the New York Times’ Best Seller list for paperback fiction. It has since been named one of Paste’s Best Memoirs of the decade, named one of the best books by USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, NPR, Esquire, Newsday and Booklist.
