Tsekeleke, popularly known from Lose It or Lose Me, spent his 40th birthday in the hospital after collapsing just days before his planned celebrations.
The entertainer was rushed to hospital on 24 July 2025, resulting in the cancellation of all festivities.

On the day of his birthday, a member of Tsekeleke’s team took to Facebook to share an update with fans:
“Tsekeleke has collapsed and is currently in the hospital! Please keep him in your prayers during this difficult time. We’re hoping for a full recovery and will keep you all updated. Stay strong, Tsekeleke! Team Mjojomba.”
Mzansi Magic Confirms Tsekeleke’s Hospitalization
Mzansi Magic publicist specialist Portia Hlongwane confirmed the news, stating:
“Mzansi Magic and Milagro have been made aware that Tsekeleke is in hospital and we wish him a speedy recovery.”
While the exact cause of the medical emergency has not been disclosed, fans have expressed growing concern about the beloved entertainer’s health.

Following the hospitalization news, false reports of Tsekeleke’s death began circulating online. The star quickly put the rumours to rest by releasing a video statement.
Visibly frustrated, Tsekeleke reassured fans that he is alive and recovering. He also thanked supporters for their love and well wishes, saying he was overwhelmed by the prayers and messages during this difficult period.
