Renowned actor and producer Tumisho Masha has opened up about his immense hardships while navigating a challenging divorce from his ex-wife, Zozibini Mtonga, and how cancel culture added to his challenges. The journey not only affected his personal life but also brought his career to a screeching halt as he faced allegations of being abusive.

During a candid conversation on a podcast, Masha revealed the severe impact the allegations had on his professional life. Known for his roles in productions like *Saints & Sinners* and his current appearance in *Champions* on Mzansi Magic, the actor shared how work opportunities dried up due to the pending accusations.

“They told me, ‘We can’t work with Tumisho anymore until he is cleared.’ That’s what I kept hearing,” he said.

Masha explained that production companies avoided collaborating with him, waiting for the court’s decision to clear his name. He expressed gratitude for enduring the legal process, which ultimately vindicated him.

After officially divorcing Mtonga in 2016, Masha faced yet another legal battle—securing custody of his daughter. This prolonged fight extended over several years, with the actor dedicating significant time and resources to ensure he could play an active role in his child’s life. His perseverance paid off when he won full custody in September last year.

Following his legal victory, Masha took to social media to share his side of the story. He highlighted the emotional and financial toll of the ongoing court cases and the impact on his reputation and livelihood.

“I have been in and out of courts every year since our separation. This was part of her continued efforts to defame my name, sabotage my ability to earn a living as a public figure, and alienate me from my daughter, despite her desire to spend equal time with both parents.”

Today, Tumisho Masha has found stability and happiness in his personal life. In 2021, he tied the knot with Chantel Wagner after being together for four years. His current marriage represents a fresh start, allowing him to rebuild his life after the challenges of his past.
