The woman allegedly went to extraordinary lengths to maintain the charade, mimicking pregnancy symptoms and presenting medical documentation. Nkosi, completely convinced, had begun preparing for triplets, purchasing baby items in sets of three.

Psychological Impact and Recovery

“I discovered the phenomenon of phantom pregnancies, where the body can manifest symptoms from sheer psychological desire,” Nkosi explained, reflecting on how he fell victim to the scam.

When the truth finally emerged, the television personality described it as one of the most painful experiences of his life, particularly because he had genuinely looked forward to fatherhood.

“When you’re in that situation, you see what your heart wants to see,” he admitted.
