Two Zimbabwean Women and Kids Kidnapped in SA, Stripped, and Beaten by Abductors as They Demand R5K Ransom
A disturbing video showing the kidnapping of two young Zimbabwean women and several children in South Africa has gone viral on social media.
The victims were reportedly stripped naked and beaten by their captors, who are demanding a ransom of R5,000.
In the viral footage, two women—including a young mother identified only as “Tina”—are seen being held captive in a dark forest.

Kidnappers Demand R5,000 Ransom for Zimbabwean Women and Children
The victims have been identified as a 21-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman, a 4-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old boy.
According to reports, they were kidnapped while returning from work. In the viral footage, the kidnappers force the women to strip and brutally assault them while demanding for a ransom of R5,000. They threaten that the victims “will never be seen again” if the money isn’t paid.
Kidnappers Film Beating as Victims Plead for Ransom
A disturbing video showing the two young women sitting on the grass while being brutally beaten has gone viral on social media. One of the kidnappers can be seen savagely kicking them and slapping their faces with open hands, while another records the dehumanising ordeal.
As the assault continues, the attacker forces the women to beg for ransom money. In the footage, the victims can be heard pleading:
“Hanzi sendai mari, hanzi sendai mari, i5 thousand.”
(“They said send the money, they said send the money, it’s 5 thousand.”)
One of the kidnappers is believed to be a Zimbabwean man. He reportedly acted as a translator, relaying demands to the victims in Shona language they could understand.

Authorities have since launched investigations into the kidnapping case. Zimbabwean South Africa-based philanthropist Moreboys Munetsi, along with other members of the Zimbabwean community in South Africa, has mobilised to offer assistance, provide support, and help in the search for the kidnapped victims.
