Uzalo Should Be Cancelled
Uzalo is said to be one of the most watched soapies in Mzansi but I am currently looking for something else to watch at 8.30 pm because I no longer care about ratings.
I cannot stand Uzalo’s lazy scriptwriting team any longer, and I am tired of repeated storylines and boring characters.
If you’re going to keep showing me trash, at least own up to it so we can lower our expectations.
Here are the reasons why Uzalo should be cancelled:
- Uzalo has become like a mini South Africa. Most of the people are unemployed, or they’re working in the salon, chesa nyama or they are Police officers who never arrest anyone. One minute someone is rich the next he/she can’t even get a place to sleep.It’s very exhausting to watch a show that does not even have proper content. The storylines are un-educational and uncreative.
- If you’re going to show us a perverted pastor who takes advantage of young girls in the church who are desperate, at least do some research. We’ve seen it so many times, so what makes Mbatha’s storyline different? At least show us the other side of the coin, instead of focusing on one side.
- It took the writer’s a while to get Mangcobo who owns Njeza’s house accommodation. How was she homeless when she owns a house? There are too many holes in your storylines lately. Either call it a day or get new scriptwriters.
