Vusi Nova Dismisses Gay Rumours, Posts Pictures Of His Girlfriend
Vusi Nova is one of Mzansi celebrities whose sexuality has not been clear since 2014, following pictures that were published by a website of Vusi with a man it claimed was his boyfriend.
The pictures went viral on social media shortly after being released.
The star has also been criticized lots of times by social media users for being in a romantic relationship with his best friend, Somizi Mhlongo, even though Mhlongo is married.
The singer who was hell-bent on keeping his love life private has changed his tune and posted pictures of himself and his girlfriend on a date night recently.
Nova previously admitted in an interview and said that the rumors got so bad at some point that they hurt him.
Nova said in an interview:
“I was okay with it in the beginning, people started asking questions and I would laugh it off. But it got a little more serious for me when I would read ridiculous things like I had gone to an island with my boyfriend and got married. That was when it really got to me.”
The pictures of Nova and his girlfriend come after his media personality bff; Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung was dragged by a social media user after the star defended Vusi Nova’s sexuality on social media.
Somgaga posted a picture of himself and his musician bestie lounging in spa robes and drinking champagne on Twitter.
Vusi also previously stated that he would not fuel the gay rumors by confirming whether he is gay or straight. He previously made a firm decision to keep people “guessing” over his love life and has accepted that the rumors will always be around.
However, all that changed recently when he was seen on a date with his girlfriend. He also got his single followers wishing they too were in a cute relationship as the singer. Reacting to the photos shared, his girlfriend confirmed that it’s the best date she’s ever had.
